Around 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health episode each year,  with 1 in 6 reporting that they have experienced anxiety or depression in any given week. Yet only 1 in 8 adults with a mental ill-health condition is currently believed to be receiving the treatment and support they need.

For organisations, this presents a challenge as much as an opportunity to play a central role in strengthening the mental wellbeing of their workforce. Those organisations which have a clear strategy in place and that proactively protect and care for mental health.



Individual Psychotherapy: Anxiety, Trauma, Depression, Burnout, Stress, Self-esteem and confidence building.

Cognitive and/or behavioural therapies (CBT) are psychological approaches based on scientific principles.  Research has shown CBT to be effective for a wide range of issues.

Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a training course which teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a Mental health issue.

The course included: recognising warning signs of Mental ill health,  and developing the skills and confidence, to approach and support someone while keeping yourself safe.

This two day course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider, giving you:

  • An in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing
  • Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
  • Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
  • Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening
  • Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support - whether that’s self-help resources, through their employer, the NHS, or a mix
